Dr. Renee Gilmore is a New Jersey native with over 25 years of experience in the chiropractic field. She received her bachelor’s degree from North Carolina Agricultural &Technical State University, a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University School of Chiropractic, and is Board-certified in North Carolina and South Carolina.
She founded the Total Touch Chiropractic Wellness Center on September 21, 1998. Her passion has been to keep healthy people healthy and to get sick and injured well by getting to the root cause.
Her special interests are stress management, hormonal balance, weight loss, improving diet, nutrition, and getting to the underlying cause of conditions.
Her community services include CMC Mercy Hospital, Charlotte area YMCA’s Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, various churches, and senior centers proving health lectures and screenings. In 2011 she created the annual Total Wellness Extravaganza health fair which exposes the community to innovative holistic treatments.
Her past affiliations have included adjunct professor at ECPI University, Hospitality House of Charlotte board, NC A&T Alumni Association, NC Chiropractic Association, and Charlotte Medical Society member.
